WHAT WILL YOU TRY IN 2016?
Hey guys!
This isn’t my normal post. Actually, it is based on the most recent email that I sent to all of the people who are part of the Leadership Collective. I am sharing it because after I wrote it, I thought about how life gives all of us challenges and how we rise to those challenges is the measure of our faith, character, and ultimately our lives. I remember a time when I would want to do or be something and the negative thoughts of ; “someone else is better than me”, “who would choose me”, “I can’t make it happen” would keep me from even trying or going after a goal. I don’t struggle with that anymore, but those thoughts are real and I see them keeping people from pursuing dreams, opportunities and lives of purpose.
“We are 12 days into 2016 as I write this and I hope that you are going after your dreams. One of the main things that holds us back is fear of the unknown. To break that fear I remind myself that even if the odds are 99% against me accomplishing my dreams, it goes to 100% if I don’t try. So to you I say, make this the year that you TRY! No matter what it is or how tough the odds are, just try.”
Leadingatlife.com will be going through some changes in the next few weeks as I TRY something new. I have gotten so much feedback from the Purpose Blueprint Formula series that Udemy is has listed me as an instructor on their platform. I just added the course: THREE KEYS TO UNLOCKING YOUR PURPOSE. And… I have gotten coupons for 50 of you to get the whole series for FREE!!!! Just click this link https://www.udemy.com/3-keys-to-unlocking-your-purpose/?couponCode=FREE2016. The FREE coupon will only last for a few days, so even if you can’t take it now, just sign up and the course is yours forever. Please leave me a review/feedback. It lets them know how well you value the course, and let’s other people that may need information on their purpose, get a better understanding of if the course is right for them.
The bad thing about trying new things is that it takes us out of our comfort zones, it stretches us and it brings the “scary” unknown right into our faces. But the good thing is that it takes us out of our comfort zones, it stretches us, and it brings the “scary” unknown right into our faces… all for us to conquer and overcome!
So… what about you? What will you promise to TRY for 2016?
